Scene III: Willoughby's store - girls buying presents - decide to get Marmee presents JOYOUS DAY REPRISE
Scene IV: March home - "that Laurence boy" - Jo's dress on fire - invitation TO THE BALL
Scene V: Laurence Mansion - Jo and Laurie meet - polka - Meg & Mr. Brooke - LOVE DOESN'T HAPPEN THAT WAY (Jo & Laurie)
Scene VI: Laurence Mansion - Jo's visit to the "ailing Mr. Laurence" - Jo's dreams - I WILL FLY (Jo) - Old Mr. Laurence introduced

Scene IV: March home - news of Father wounded - Jo goes to Aunt for money - sells her hair - Marmee goes to Father - MY PRAYER REPRISE (March Family)
Scene V: Beth home from Hummels - collapses with fever - send for Laurie/Mr. Laurence - telegram to Marmee - Beth very ill - UNEXPECTED FRIENDS REPRISE (Mr. Laurence)
Scene VI: Summer - March garden - Meg/Mr. Brooke wedding - FROM THIS DAY - Laurie proclaims love for Jo - she refuses him - Laurie broken hearted - LOVE DOESN'T HAPPEN THAT WAY REPRISE
Scene VII: Fall - The seashore - Beth recuperating - tells Jo she's not going to get well - Jo breaks down - Beth is strong - PROVIDENCE REPRISE - in-one scene Father steps forward and tells of each of the girls (Meg married, Amy to Europe w/Aunt March, Jo published, Beth "slipped away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her best" - sings MY LITTLE WOMEN REPRISE
Scene VIII: March attic - Jo leaving home - here to say goodbye - misses Beth - manuscript in her arms sings I WILL FLY FINALE - attic flies out - joined by family and entire ensemble
